ADAY.org – Picture Today Inspire Tomorrow
Another cool-sounding photography project, similar to one organized by the New York Times a few years back. While the goal to create global context by providing global perspective is a noble one, one might argue that the submissions to the project will no doubt be lopsided in favor of first/second-world democratic nations where people have the luxury of digital cameras and the internet as well as the freedom to receive and share information in any way they choose. However, even the silence offered by the relative lack of photos will add to this visual conversation on the way we live now.
